Walnut
Walnut wood boasts a rich, dark brown color, sometimes with highlights of red or purple, and features striking, consistent grain patterns that make each piece unique. It is a strong hardwood, known for its toughness and density.
Quarter Sawn White Oak
The cut reveals the wood's ray cells, creating a visually appealing, wavy, ribbon-like pattern called ray fleck, which adds significant character and beauty. Quarter sawn white oak is a superior wood for furniture, the cut method only increases its inherent strength & stability.
Brown Maple
Brown maple is a popular, budget-friendly choice for furniture, offering strength, durability, and a smooth surface ideal for painting and distressing. Clients love it for its versatility and ability to showcase unique grain patterns and mineral streaks.
Cherry
Cherry wood is prized for furniture due to its beautiful, reddish-brown color that deepens over time, a fine, uniform grain, and excellent workability, making it easy to machine and finish to a smooth, elegant surface.
Hickory & Elm
Hickory wood has a dramatic and contrasting grain pattern, often featuring a mix of light and dark colors, which gives it a unique, natural, and rustic appearance. Elm wood is a strong, moderately hard "soft hardwood" with a distinctive, interlocking grain that resists splitting.
