"Darlene and Eugene Kreamer knew what they wanted. It just took them three years to find the perfect carriage and horse for their front yard along Route 11 in Montour Township...The couple traveled to Lancaster three times to visit places where Amish buggies were sold...her husband was successful in bidding on the buggy...
Next, they decided to add a horse to pull the carriage. While traveling to Duncannon for a funeral, they saw full-size cast aluminum statues for sale [at Farmer Boy Furniture]..they chose to have the horse painted black...They are hoping their granddaughter, her husband-to-be and bridesmaids will pose for pictures in the carriage on their wedding day..."
